Itinerary

DAY 1             

Arrival in Prague. Meeting with your guide and welcome drink. Free time in the evening and night at the hotel.

 

DAY 2

Breakfast at the hotel, and departure for a guided tour of Prague

The unique Old Town with buildings from the 1000-years history of the city, which has been never destroyed but carefully reconstructed during the last years. The centre of the Old Town is the Old Town. Square, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe with the old CityHall and the Astronomical clock. Aside there is the Jewish Quarter with synagogues and the old cemetery. Beside the Old Town is the Welceslas Square with the horseman statue of the Saint Welceslas in front of the monumental National Museum. The oldest bridge in Prague across the Vltava-River is the Charles Bridge with sculptures and towers on both sides.

Free time for individual lunch ( a lunch in one of the typical Bohemian can be arranged on request). Rehearsal in the afternoon and in the evening friendship concert with a choir from Prague, (for instance. the mixed choir Hlahol (voice), which has an own concert hall near the Vltava-River and where Bedrich Smetana has been one of the first music directors). Return to the hotel and overnight.

 

DAY 3      

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning church service in one of the many churches in Prague (optional) such as the baroque Francisco-from-Assisi-Church near Charles Bridge. After this, another guided tour: Prague Castle with its palaces and Gardens with the Cathedral St Vitus, former seat of the Bohemian Kings and today of the Czech President. Farewell dinner (in a folk restaurant with gipsy music or dinner on cruise ship). Night at the hotel.

 

DAY 4   

Breakfast at the hotel. End of services.
