Belgium - Brussels/Bruges

Itinerary

DAY 1               

Arrival in Brussels, meeting and greeting with your guide, check-in at the   hotel. Free time at the hotel, dinner.  

 

DAY 2


Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour in Brussels (approx. 3hrs). Afternoon free or optional activities (approx. 2h)
 
Option 1 

Visit of the Gueuze beer Museum, Brewery Cantillon 

Discover the historic lambic brewery at Cantillon, where they still brew using spontaneous fermentation in with open-air fermentors. It is sight to see. You will also have the possibility to taste the various beers they produce after the tour: Gueuze, Lambic, Kriek and Faro.  

Option 2

Visit of a chocolate factory with demonstration and tasting. 

Belgian chocolate has been the food of champions, a lure for lovers, the indulgence of the rich and later, the favourite of the public.  

 

By the end of the afternoon, preparation for the concert at the hotel. In the evening friendship concert with a local choir or individual concert. Afterwards friendship drink with the local choir. Night at the hotel.  

 

DAY 3                 
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Brugge and guided visit of the town (approx. 2 hrs). Its medieval old-town and its charming canals makes Bruges one of the most picturesque towns in Belgium, also called the “Venice of the North”. It’s a romantic open-air museum with churches and patrician houses. Have a look at picturesque Groene Reie or start off your visit with a trip down the River Dijver. The beautiful old houses along the river banks testifies of the wealth that the city once knew. The typical cobbled squares with their ancient coloured and ornate houses remind us of another time. 

 

Lunch, cruise on the canals (approx. 30 min). In the afternoon, a concert in the city centre or with a local choir may be arranged. Dinner. Night at the hotel.  

 

DAY 4   

     
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and end of the stay.
