Canada - Montreal and Quebec

Itinerary

DAY 1

Depart from France on a flight bound for Montréal, Canada. Arrival to Montréal, where a tour manager will be waiting to greet you. Board on motor coach for a guided visit of Montréal. Check in at the hotel and orientation walk. Welcome dinner in a great restaurant. Night at the hotel.

DAY 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Montréal Botanical Gardens. This place is recognized as one of the world’s greatest botanical gardens, which offers a collection of 22,000 plant species. After your visit to the gardens, free time in town in the historic Vieux-Port de Montréal. Free time for lunch. In late afternoon, concert at the Notre-Dame Basilica. Dinner at one of Montréal’s fine restaurants. Night at the hotel.

DAY 3

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure to La Mauricie National Park. Guided tour of the park with a local guide. It is possible to rent a canoe to discover the arresting beauty of North American wilderness. After the visit of the park, continue on the Trois Rivières (which is the second oldest permanent settlement of New France). Check in at the hotel. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night at the hotel.

DAY 4

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure by bus to Québec City. Guided tour of the city with a local guide. Check in at the hotel and then orientation walk of Québec’s Lower Town. Free time for lunch at one of the many cafés and crêperies. Time for rehearse for the evening’s friendship concert. The concert can be arranged at La Basilique-Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Québec with a local choir (subject to availability). After your performance, dinner will be arranged with the local choir at one of Québec’s restaurants. Night at the hotel.

DAY 5

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Notre-Dames-des-Victoires. Possibility to perform as part of the morning service in this historic church. After the concert, take the day to explore Québec City on your own. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night at the hotel.

DAY 6

Breakfast at the hotel. Day excursion outside the city limits to visit a waterfall that is taller than Niagara Falls and that faces Québec City: Montmorency Falls. After the excursion to the falls, visit of the Basilica of Saint-Anne-de-Beaupré. Possibility to have an informal concert here. After the concert, farewell dinner will be arranged in a restaurant. Night at the hotel.

DAY 7

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Board on the motor coach for Montréal and flight back to France. End of the trip
