Welcome to Sardinia, a land of travellers, where the scent of wild herbs mixes with the smell of the sea, the sound of the wind whispering through the trees, that has always inspired deep and ancestral music. You will find a music that draws its roots from the depths, where the sounds are simple, strong and proud. Friendship concerts with local choirs and a final concert in the churchyard of the XII/XIII century Cathedral of San Pantaleo.
Itinerary
Day 1 : ARRIVAL
Arrival in Cagliari
Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and Night at the hotel.
Day 2 : CAGLIARI & FRIENDSHIP CONCERT
Breakfast. Half day guided tour of Cagliari. Lunch on you own. Afternoon free at disposal and preparation for the friendship concert with a local choir from Cagliari or surroundings. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 : BARUMINI & FINAL CONCERT
Breakfast. Departure for a guided tour of the nuraghi city Barumini. Lunch on your own or visit to a local farm in Parteolla. In the late afternoon transfer to Dolianova for the final concert together with all participating choirs in the 12th/13th century Cathedral of San Pantaleo. Farewell Dinner and return to the hotel.
Day 4 : CAGLIARI & DEPARTURE
Breakfast. Check-out and departure.
